She quickly came back with the original food, figuring I could eat it while I was waiting. I figured I would just take the chicken home, but then she comes back 10 mins later and announces that the cook is making a whole new skillet for me. So, then I asked her if it's no cheese and she said she'd check.
But then, maybe 10 more mins later, she says he made it with cheese so he's going to make a new one, and I said I don't need it, but she again insisted that she wanted me to have what I originally ordered. I said, well I guess you should make it to go. It seems that she assumed that.
But then maybe 10 more mins went by and I was finished eating and she said the cook hadn't started the new skillet yet and I told her to just forget it and she finally accepted it.
She didn't seem to understand that I ordered chicken in the first place because it's supposedly healthier than the sausage. If I wanted sausage I could have gotten it for a lot cheaper at McDonald's -- which I often do. It's not like I don't eat sausage. I went to Steak 'n Shake for something a little different than what's easily available elsewhere.
