VT: I noticed that the current Suwanee City Hall (opened in 2009) looked unusual but
I couldn't put my finger on what it resembled.  My first guess was that it looked
like a certain type of sports stadium.   A google search revealed that a lot of people
think it looks like the Super Friends Hall of Justice.  But it turns out that both
the cartoon building and the city hall were modeled after a Union Station
art deco style train terminal.

When I walked in the door, it sounded like my phone rang once.My phone answering machine had a message from a politician regarding the weather.

But then 5 mins later, I heard a single ring again, but it didn't seem like myland line.  I looked at my cellphone and there was no notification, but I swipedand their was a notice from the Alert Me app.  I'm not sure what it was saying.It seemed to be showing a number, but not enough digits for a phone number.In any case, the app is NOT behaving they way I want it to behave.

But then I went to my texting app and saw the number.  Apparently, the numberis meaningless to me, but it was a txt message from Xfinity and maybe it was a message identifier, and I *HAD* seen the text as a notification, but I didn't see that the 2 things were connected.

The mobile weather van was showing an example of an unplowed side street in North Park and it appears to be going past the former home of Temple Beth Israel.  It says Elim Romanian Pentecostal Church, and I had passed a church with that name near Lawrenceville, GA, earlier today.  The one in Chicago shows an "Available" sign as of this past July.  There is also a mosque a block west that probably used to be a church

An articles says the congregation got authorization to build a new church on the site that was occupied by Monastero's on Devon.  I hadn't realized that the restaurant closed over a year ago.

Their ad had 2 coupons with small print including an expiration date. There was a 3rd item surrounded by dashed lines -- like the other coupons-- except there was no small print and no expiration date.  So, I didn't know if it was an announcement that sushi was half-priced on Mon & Tue, or it it was a coupon.  They told me it was a coupon but it wasn't clear if we were actually communicating.  

When I asked for the check, I gave them the coupon and the waitress seemed confused about how to calculate it.  But she worked it out and she had stapled the coupon to the check/receipt.  I wasn't sure how to interpret that, but it implied that  they'd be holding onto the receipt.  Usually, I can just take it.  So, I asked for a copy and she seemed a little put out by that, but she complied.  Again, I have to wonder if there was confusion on my part.

• The lead female had left town and is now just returning.   But her backstory has changed.  She's now the daughter of illegal aliens.  On her way back into town to see her father, she conveniently bumps into her HS boyfriend -- who is an extra-terrestrial -- but she doesn't know that.  He happens to be a cop now.    But is he also an illegal alien?  The sheriff has the same last name, but is now a woman.

Also, researching error on Google Maps.  There is a restaurant identified but there is no reference to it on Google -- except the map.  The location is the Doraville Civic Center but it seems like that's only because the address is only the town, not a street address.

I called the Library, which is on the next block (figuring they're not as busy as City Hall) and they told me the restaurant is in a shopping center, but Google shows the shopping center as closed.  

Street View seems to show a new shopping center there, but maybe it's like we still call it the Sears Tower.  It seems to be the same shopping center but they have have had a new name since 2012.  It seems to be mostly vacant.  There is no evidence that the restaurant is there.

The mashed potatoes was also empty;  I didn't see any other kinds of potatoes but

And when I was trying to use the self-serve checkout, I couldn't hear the instructions
because there was a live piano and singer, which also made it impossible to listen to
