I just remembered seeing 2 new restaurants out of the corner of my eye on Roosevelt

yesterday and I just found them on Google maps.  One is a bakery, so not interesting.

The other is a peri-peri chicken place.  I've never had that, so I suppose I should try it,

although it might be too spicy.

~~  In the same strip mall, is a new Burger House, which I hadn't noticed while driving.

I don't think we need any add'l burger places, but it seems that the main idea is

that it's halal -- there is a substantial Islamic population in the area.  It's the

only local place that seems to have poutine -- which, of course, doesn't interest me --

but it's still interesting that they have a unique item.  The yelp reviews say it's

expensive and mediocre food, so I guess I won't be bothering with it.

he was there, but, he gives me the impression that he just can't accept that idea.

However, the social worker did take him to get a state ID.  Only a temporary one was

Also drove to car dealership to ask their opinion about my rear-end damage.

But, before I pulled in, I saw I sign that said "Body shop" pointing to the back,

so I went there.  It turns out that they are independent but have been there since

before I bought my previous car at the dealership in the front.

~~  After, I did go into the dealership's service dept and they said there's nothing

complicated in the area where the car was damaged, so there doesn't seem to be any 

need to rush.  They had no reason for me not to take it the the place in the back

and had no other recommendations.  

~~ The body shop implied it would take at least 10 days to fix it, but I'm

assuming it could take a lot longer because they'd just be sitting there

waiting for parts. It seems that they'd be replacing the whole lift gate

-- not just pounding out the dents.

They are NOT BBB accredited, but have an A+ rating because there have been

no complaints through the BBB.  Google has 4.4 stars out of 5.  There are few bad

review out of 69.  Yelp has 3.5/5 with 24 reviews.  

~~ It seems that there are 5 steps. First, how long will it take before

they can provide the estimate to the insurance company (so that also

includes time that it's just sitting there waiting for them to get to

it). Time it takes for the insurance company to process that. Time for

parts to arrive. Time to wait until they can get to starting the repair.
