Neve discovers that she is dead and is determined to solve her own murder in this British supernatural drama based on a 2017 Belgian series.

~~  As a ghost, I wouldn't think she could grab an object, but she grabs a vase and smashes it

to the floor.  We hear the glass smashing (which makes it seem like Neve heard it), 

but her mom doesn't hear it.  (Neve broke the vase to try to get her mom's attention.)

Neve then looks at the floor and there are no broken pieces and she sees the intact vase is

still on the table.  I don't think I've ever seen such a portrayal of a ghost before.

Of course, there's the general problem that ghosts seem to be able to walk on floors.

But she can see herself in a mirror.  She goes to take a shower, and she seems to

feel the water.  Later, she rides away on her dirt bike but the camera pans back

to the garage and the bike is still there.  I guess we're just supposed to accept it

without thinking about it.

Very disappointed -- I know that they way overcharge and aren't particularly good.

I first went to Jimmy's Dog House but, at 4:15p, they said they closed at 4p for the holiday.

that used to have hot dogs but doesn't have them anymore.

I was able to get wifi on the patio but the phone says it was NOT a secure connection.

I decided that, since I wasn't banking (and have no banking apps on my phone), I'd let it connect and 

I was able to order.  I went inside without my mask but it was so crowded that I went back to get my mask.  

I think I waited about 15 min.  I'm assuming that they were giving priority to the drive-thru.

When I went back out to the patio, I could no longer get the wifi signal, but when I went 

inside to refill my drink, I could get the signal there.

My usual biking path was blocked by hoses being used to drain the pool.  In the past, they

seemed to let the hoses let the water out without crossing the street.  Normally, I would

just leave the subdivision but it was very windy and I didn't want to go far but on the

Dr. Hari Seldon and a small group of believers seek to preserve human knowledge and save civilization after he predicts the end of the Galactic Empire in this sci-fi series supposedly based on the novels 

by Isaac Asimov, but one reviewer said it doesn’t have much to do with Asimov’s book aside from using the same title and the same character names.

~~  One review said it "is a breathtakingly bold undertaking that will dazzle just as much as it confounds, and lays its own foundation for what may prove the most ambitious television yet." 

But another said, "Disrespectful and meaningless nonsense."

~~  I haven't read the source material, so I won't be distracted by the differences but people who

have read the original thought the original was great -- so why couldn't the producers stick to it?

~~  It starts off a bit badly by the narrator saying the planet is unsettled by man, and then we

see there is a colony.  They could have said "mostly unsettled" or "unsettled except for a small colony."

A bigger question, I don't know if it will be answered, is, if the planet is at the farthest reaches

of the galaxy, what would bring people here -- with children.

~~  I'm not sure if I got the answer from the first episode, but maybe it's properly called unsettled

because the colonists are there for a certain purpose, bit it's not to have a society that can support 

itself -- it probably depends on receiving supplies externally.

~~  I'm not sure if the difference from the novels are significant enough.  For example, the main character

in the show is female, but was male in the novel.  I will try to watch the remaining episodes during

the free trial but I don't know  if it will be worth it.  What bothers me the most is the ponderous dialog and

what I'll call mediaeval costumes mixed in with extreme scientific advances, similar to "Dune".

Before Fresh Thyme, I went to Walmart to buy a phone protector.  They didn't have any
