I couldn't get any wifi in the parking lot, but inside, I was able to get the login screen to work  for the first time.  

At this point, I don't know if they fixed a general problem, or if there was a reason it worked at THIS McD.  

However, I couldn't order the burritos without cheese on the app at this location.

So, I had to order it at the counter.

--   2:05p  Headed home to get e-mail password.  Turns out that I knew it, but I got the cases wrong.

--   2:20p  Returned and discovered that they needed my Google password.  

But I had brought my laptop so I had all my passwords.

--   3:08p  Arrived at Five Below to get a new cellphone case.

They no longer have any generic cases and they only have iPhone cases.

I neglected to look at the selection at the Xfinity store.

Then went to pickup dinner @BK, in the same shopping center, since it was Whopper Wednesday.

Used new cellphone to call home and let machine answer.  Then listened to message, so it worked.

--   4:27p  Inside after biking 3 mi and talking to neighbors;  Dinner @home: $3 Impossible Whopper on app

--   5:11p  Inside after biking 2 mi (Total 15 mi today);  I'm totally discombobulated.

--   5:18p  Plugged in new phone at 51%.  I had to buy a charging brick separate from the phone.

--   7:10p  Phone is now at 100% battery

--   7:35p  I tried to use TiVo app on new phone which requires me to login.

It said that there was no such userid on file.  I logged in on my laptop and it worked.

Now I'm confused.

--   7:40p  There is a link for trouble logging in.  It said I should contact my

cable provider regarding my credentials.  I don't know how my cable provider would be 

involved in this.

--   8:24p  Just finished online chat with a Comcast agent with poorly-worded sentences.

He indicated that he has escalated the problem and I need to wait for a call back.

*To activate screen, I have to find and press power button.  Old phone used double tap of screen.

*On-screen buttons on bottom of screen use different icons and have swapped possitions.

*I can't find the settings icon.  The guy at Xfinity showed me but now I can't find it.

However, I can ask Google to open it.

*Accidentally found list of all apps by swiping and found Setting there anc copied icon to main screen.

*Googled and found how to set screen to wakeup when I double tap.

*Didn't realize that the phone was using Xfinity wifi.  So, I had to set it up to use my home network.

*Tuned off mobile data.  I didn't know that it was on by default. 

The meaning of the gas gauge is ambiguous.  It's one color, so I don't know if it means

0% or 100%, or if I was charged for data usage already.  It was confusing on old phone, too.

*New phone doesn't say how long it will take until fully-charged, but it might take some

charging cycles for it to display that.
