First Solo Drive
Zach Braff ("Scrubs") was on Letterman talking about his first solo flight and it occurred to me that I should have a memory of driving a car solo for the first time but I have no such recollection. If there were blogs at the time I certainly would have noted it, although I certainly could have noted it in a journal on paper, too. But even if there were blogs back then, I suspect that the record of it would be lost. It might still be in cyberspace somewhere, but it doesn't mean it would be accessible to me.

I don't remember my first solo drive, but I do remember my first drive. It was in a 1-1/2 T. Chevy truck, on a one-lane country road. I was in and out of ditches on both sides before I got the hang of keeping all 4 wheels on the road surface.
