- One-time strangers becoming a found family in the urban jungle of Brooklyn.
- One critic said, "Fine performances go a long way to mitigating the corniness the show actively courts." Another said it "has been precision-designed in a laboratory [to make you cry uncontrollably. Another said the writers "make the mistake of confusing emotion with quality."
- It follows "This is Us", and, it seems, the network thinks this is the kind of show that "This is Us" viewers want to see.
- I didn't cry. There are 8 main characters that live in the building and one has a grandfather who lives in a nursing home and has some friends there. One of the building residents is a nurse at that nursing home.
- I expect to keep watching.
