--   1:32p  Returned to where Jeri & Joel had parked.  They biked 14.5 mi.

After they left, I sat in gazebo.

--   3:00p  Stopped at the Taste of Oak Brook, which was just opening, 

but I looked at the food that was available and nothing looked interesting.

--   3:15p  Stopped @McDonald's and concocted a root beer float

--   4:00p  Headed home

--   4:22p  Home;  Total ride: 28 mi, and I'm exhausted;  Sitting in garage.

--   5:15p  Inside after talking to neighbor;  Skim Ch7 news

--   8:18p  "Jimmy Kimmel" (Thu)

--   9:10p  Leaving to see fireworks

--   9:20p  Arrived at vantage point north of fireworks

--   9:35p  Fireworks started but they seemed to be further away than expected

--   9:45p  The actual show started as the other display continued for a while
