Strange.  I took a look at the location of the house.  The pub and some other buildings

were built for the movie and then destroyed.  The largest town, Westport, is an hour away

and I took a brief look at the downtown area.  Not downtown, I saw a statue of

Grace O'Malley, the 16th-century Irish Pirate Queen.
