--   2:00a  Had taken a bit of a nap, and it seems the Soviet-era Venus probe

is now past due to reenter Earth's atmosphere.

--   4:30a  Although I've been sitting in recliner with eye mask, I haven't

fallen asleep.  Germany failed to see expected pass of the probe, so they're

assuming it has reentered atmosphere but there have been no reports of sightings.

It seems that it crashed into Indian Ocean at 1:24a Chicago time, so there was

no reason for me to stay up so late.  It was 13 mins before the predicted time.

I was just about finished and there was a loud pop.  I thought it happened a block away

but my rear tire suddenly went flat.  This was the same one that was fixed 2 weeks ago!
