The waitress couldn't give guidance as to how spicy it was, but it was tolerable.

--   1:08p  Started biking east to lake and south through Northwestern to Lee St.

--   2:11p  Back at Carla's after biking 10.5 mi.

--   3:09p  Called EJB and asked if he'd like me to stop by

but he was too busy restoring his place after the cleaning woman left.

Checked traffic and I-294 was bad, so I decided to get off at Irving Park and

headed west a little past York Rd and parked on a side street.

--   4:25p  Started biking west, north on Wooddale Rd, and west on Devon to Arlington Hts Rd

and then south to the Itasca train station.  Then biked east on Irving Park Rd.

--   5:40p  After biking  10.5 mi, arrive for dinner @Jim & Tom's restaurant: Italian beef & sausage combo.

When I first passed it, I thought they'd have a more interesting menu.

If I knew that it was rather typical beef & hot dog place, I probably would have gone elsewhere.

When I mentioned it was my birthday, they gave me a free piece of choc cake.

--   6:42p  Back at car after biking about 2 mi.  The car wasn't that far from the restaurant

but I biked around the neighborhood to get the odometer to an integral value.

--   7:10p  Home via IL-83.

--   7:53p  Inside after biking 3 mi (Total 28 mi today) and talking to neighbor.

--   8:53p  "Big Brother"

They mentioned mac & cheese.
