They mentioned "Winter Storm Eboni". This is the first time I'm aware of a winter storm
having a name. A search revealed that The Weather Channel has been naming such storms since 2012. It's controversial because The Weather Channel isn't the government so the names aren't official, and others argue the criteria they use in arbitrary.
