The strange [ctrl] key behavior (where mouse locator circle would be persistent) went away.
I suspected it meant an update was ready to be installed.

--   1:07p  I tried to start Edge browser and the laptop wasn't doing anything, so I decided to
try to start it from the Windows icon and the Windows key and neither was working.
The applications I generally use seem to be working OK

--   1:30p  It seems to be working now.  I decided to reboot, and went to washroom and
when I got back it seem to be taking a long time, and then it rebooted itself, and it
seemed a bit sluggish starting up, but now it seems OK.
