the program and created a new file and saved it. I closed the program and
reloaded the file and it worked. Then I opened an older file and it worked.
It didn't seem to be accessing the CD drive, so I disconnected it and
brought up a couple other files and it seems to be working. But I still
feel a little hesitant.

I had first gone to Masala but it seems that they've gone out of business
I was driving around in circles afterward, trying to decide where to go.
When I approached Tandoori, I noticed the shopping center sign didn't have a
sign for the restaurant, but they were open. The last time I was there
was 3.5 years ago. They've improved and they're better than Masala.
However, I was waiting a long time for the check. My waitress seemed to
have disappeared. Another waitress told me to just go to the front counter.

Installed Dropbox, Python 3.8
Also installed scanner; It was able to scan 1st page but hung up on the
2nd page. It seems that the USB connection had trouble. It's a USB 3 port
but the scanner is probably USB 2. It's supposed to be backwards compatible
but that's NOT guaranteed. But after unplugging and replugging, it finally
worked. But it's difficult to tell if I can expect it to work reliably.
Is the old scanner somewhat incompatible, or is there a problem with the USB port?
