-- 12:45a  Bed
--   7:45a  Up;  Laptop was on again
--   8:25a  Leaving for breakfast @McD: 2 sausage/egg burritos
--   9:13a  Inside after biking 1 mi;  Near zero wind chill;
As soon as I got my coat off, I got e-mail that my Best Buy order is ready for pick-up.
--   9:20a  "Kelly & Ryan"
-- 10:19a  "The View"
-- 12:00p  Skim Ch2 news
-- 12:14p  "Carol's Second Act" ...
-- 12:20p - 12:37p  Tony called while he was eating lunch at Jersey Mike's.
--   2:05p  "Last Man Standing"  (ep2)
--   3:20p  Leaving for dinner @Naf Naf: Falafel pita & free soup (lentil)
Also picked up new Dell laptop at Best Buy.
--   4:28p  Inside after biking 1 mi;  "Inside Edition"
--   4:45p  Got laptop out of box

--   5:39p  Finished installing Chrome and accessing e-mail.
Offhand, it seems to be running hot.
--   5:42p  Skim Ch7 news
Signed on to Facebook, Yahoo, Blogger;  Downloaded Firefox, PFE.
--   7:00p  Copied files from external drive and opened up MS Access.
I got a lot of error messages that says it must be configured for 64-bit system
but I thought my current laptop was so configured.  So, this is the first serious problem.
--   7:37p  I seem to have managed to fix it -- but I don't know if I fixed it correctly.
I added PtrSafe attribute -- which seems to mean that I'm declaring that it's safe --
except that I don't KNOW that it's safe.  It is related to getting the timezone.

--   7:40p  "ET"
--   8:34p  "God Friended Me"
-- 10:39p  Skim Ch5 news
-- 11:10p  "Jimmy Kimmel"

-- 11:40p  Finished installing MS Streets & Trips and it started up but
when I tried to load a map file it said the a removable drive or a networks share
cannot be found, or the installation is corrupt.  So, this seems serious.  Now
it won't even start.  I don't know if I did something wrong during the installation
or if the program is just too old (from 2006).  There is no current version.

-- 11:57p  Tried to run it with the install disk in the external CD drive but
nothing changed, so I figure I have no option but to delete it and attempt to
reinstall.  It seems to have selected to C: drive to install it.  I have a feeling
that this is hopeless.
