-- 7:35p +"Resident, The" (03/17/20)
>>> 9:01p "Council of Dads" (Metacritic: 53, 30-67, #5)
Inspired by Bruce Feiler's book of the same name.
When a man is diagnosed with cancer in his early 40s, he comes up with a creative plan to ensure
his baby daughter would grow up with the love & wisdom he hoped he would have provided.
Keep in mind that the mother is still around and they have 4 other kids (one is an adult).
~~ Review said it has a talented cast and it's "built on a concept rife with possibilities"
but added that it's "Wholly predictable and oddly given over to needless twists."
~~ It's considered an obvious rip-off of "This is Us" which it replaces in its time slot.
~~ Takes place in Savannah, GA.
