I think I went out of my way to overpay for gas.  They might have canceled loyalty discount

so a closer gas station would have been less.

Traffic on the I-290 was bad.  I got off at Mannheim and got back on at 1st Ave.

It finally opened up at Austin, but got a bit tight at Independence because of a gapers block

with an accident on the westbound side.

--   6:15p  Found parking spot on Bell just north of Hirsch (in a school zone), about 1/2 mi away,

--   6:26p  Arrived 20 mins early at The Robey Hall on North near Damen.

--   7:00p  Started selecting food from buffet.

The 2 cheeseless dinner selections were chicken satay and brussel sprouts.

Later, I skipped the cheesecake and had one large choc chip cookie and one large peanut butter cookie.

--   8:50p  Walked with Joel to his car and then he drive me to my car

--   9:00p  Started driving home
