Based on the 2011 murder of Betsy Faria which was originally pinned on her husband 

but a retrial soon revealed her co-worker Pam Hupp's involvement.

~~  I usually don't watch these kind of shows, because I've usually heard enough about 

them on the news, but I don't recall this case at all.

~~  One critic mentions  a "spirit of wry satire as it chronicles the grimly comical 

law enforcement ineptitude," so, I guess that came across in the commercials I've seen

and Renee Zellweger performance.  On the other hand, it seems like it may just be an

extended version of "Dateline", which covered it (but I never watch that show).
