I had garlic shrimp and penne pasta and we ate on patio in complete shade.
-- 1:20p Left the restaurant, but forgot to get driving direction loaded on phone
so I stopped at McD in same shopping center to use their wifi, but I couldn't get it in
the parking lot, so I had to go inside. And then I was stuck in traffic getting out
of the shopping center.
-- 1:45p So, finally I was headed towards Crystal Lake.
-- 1:55p Stopped in Cary to use washroom at another McD
-- 2:16p After driving 14 mi from Lake Zurich, arrived at Veteran Acres Park
-- 2:25p Started biking west and then northwest
-- 2:58p - 3:04p Stopped at Culver's to use washroom
--. 3:25p Arrived @DQ in Woodstock and got mint shake
-- 3:57p Headed back
-- 4:08p Stopped at another McD to use washroom
-- 5:16p Back at car in Crystal Lake. Total ride: 20 mi
The weather was perfect except for a strong headwind on the way back.
Also, the way back seemed to be more uphill.
-- 5:26p Drove 29 mi south on Randall Rd to Batavia
My right foot was tired from the biking and was starting to get sore when holding brake pedal at red lights.
-- 6:24p Arrived for dinner @Chicken Salad Chick
I had a combo with lemon pecan chicken salad plus potato & bacon soup (without cheese).
It was OK, but I was not impressed. They have all sorts of different types of chicken salad
but the version that I chose tasted like chicken salad. I didn't notice anything unique about it.
I had originally planned to take a couple other versions home but there didn't seem to be any
point to doing that.

Sat in garage; The cicada were EXTREMELY loud.
I only had 23% charge left on my phone. I forgot that I have cord to plug it into cig lighter.
