 Premieres

-- Single Parents
  • A group of seasoned single parents attempt to help out a newbie.
  • One critic doesn't like how the kide talk like college-educated adults, but another thinks the kids hae all of the best lines. One critic said it's the fall's funniest new comedy.  Another says it ranges from silly to dumb, but doesn't see that as a problem.
  • Regis Philbin's daughter, Jennifer is co-creater.
  • I think it's really stupid.  I don't think I laughed once.  But I'll probably keep watching anyway.

-- A Million Little Things
  • Friends come together after a a friend jumps off a skyscraper supposedly without leaving a note.
  • Harshest critic says it's "a slog of a story about irritating and unspecial characters." and adds that it "never finds its way to an authentic moment."  The main theme seems to be "Everything happens for a reason."

  • Kindest critic said, "It's a story well-acted and well-told, its cast folding together like fingers in a glove."
  • Everyone thinks it's trying to be the next "This is Us", which I watch, but I think that's been overrated.
  • Everyone seems to agree that the cast is good but thinks it romanticizes and minimizes suicide a bit too much.
  • I expect to keep watching.
