  • About a competitive church choir that accepts help from a former music professor.
  • He came to the small KY town because his wife just died and it was her hometown. 
  • It's unclear why the choir enters competitions -- since they're so bad.  But they magically improve after a little bit of coaching from the professor. 
  • It's silly, but the characters are likable enough.  I expect to keep watching.  I assume it will be more about the quirky town because the choir has already improved.
