I just realized that the actress who plays the chief of staff was the neighbor on
"My Crazy Ex-Girlfriend", which I watched for 4 yrs, but I didn't notice that it
was the same actress, nor did I know her name.

A year after the events of "The Silence of the Lambs," she starts a new case.
I remember almost nothing from the movie, but I assumed it wouldn't be important until
I saw one review that mentioned its constant linking to the Hannibal story.
~~  One review said, "An unusually well-made network procedural."  But another thinks
it would have been better -- less constrained -- if they made it for CBS All Access.
Another said it's "a disappointingly run-of-the-mill procedural," which is NOT something
I'm looking.  Another said it's a "Frustratingly superficial psychological thriller."
~~  Jenny Lumet is co-creator.
~~  She has been working at a desk and didn't want to be brought back into the field but
in the movie she saved a Senator's daughter, and the mom is now US Atty Gen who wants
Clarice on this new case -- but, it seems, primarily as a face for the public to see.
~~  I'll probably watch the next episode, but I'm not sold.
