First picked up prescriptions. CVS seems to always take every opportunity to drop the ball.
I went there earlier this week to ask for Rx's to be transferred from Walgreen's. They said
it could take 48 hrs. Today, I registered on CVS website and saw my medications were listed
and it said they were filled the day I had visited the store, but the line that said
"Ready to pickup" said zero.
So, I called and they said they didn't know that I wanted them refilled. I had asked at the
time if they'd call me when they're ready and they said "yes". So, they said they'd be ready in
about an hour.
Before I left the house, I checked the website and it still said zero, but when I clicked on list
it showed 6 of 7 were ready and the 7th was simply not on the list.
So, when I went into the store, of course, the woman ahead of me was having a problem. She had
ordered a refill but it seemed like the insurance wasn't picking up on that. During COVID we all
want to reduce interaction (and time in the store) to minimum, but it seems like the staff
isn't doing anything to work towards that goal.
I told them about my 7th item, glucose test strips, were missing. So, they were able to grab a
box of that, but when the items showed up on the screen, it was the full price. So, they had to
investigate that.
They determined that Medicare won't allow transferring such items from one pharmacy to another.
They need a new Rx. So, I asked if they could call the doctor's office. They're not going to
do that on the spot because they'd still have to wait for a response. But, I'm sure that this
is going to be another ball for them to drop.

Last night, he told a joke about telling Alexa to order Bisquick, and Alexa's of
