-- 12:50a  Bed
--   8:36a  Up
--   9:00a  Leaving to pickup breakfast @McD

I didn't get double points yesterday, so I tried a different way today and when
I got to the "checkout now", I didn't know if I should press that or press
"Earn points", so I went inside and the cashier was clueless.  So, she decided to
give me the hotcakes for free and only charge me for the pop, but then the tax
was more than double a regular order.  But I guess I saved a couple dollars.

--   9:39a  Inside after biking 2 mi;  Breakfast @home: hotcakes & sausage
I didn't bike much because it was cool, windy, and the streets were damp.
--   9:53a  Inside after biking 2 mi;  "The View"
-- 11:29a  Skim Ch2 news
-- 11:47a  "Kelly & Ryan";  First :40 preempted by Biden's speech at UN (which I didn't watch)

>>> 12:39p  "Ordinary Joe" (Metacritic: 61, 40-75, #10)
A guy graduated college and has a decision to make and then we see the results of 3 very different paths.
~~  One review said, It’s too soon to know if the show’s writers can sustain this premise but the pilot episode is a winner."
Another said it, "has a 'be careful what you wish for' message embedded in its plot, but 'Joe' doesn't appear to be moralizing in any particular way. The show is a thought experiment come to life, and so far it's interesting enough to keep thinking about."
~~  One comment I would make is that the character is certain to come upon OTHER decisions he has
to make along the line, but the show is NOT going to take a branch every time that happens.
So, in a way, we are watching 3 different shows.  All they'd have to do is put in a different actor
and change his name.
~~  Yes, in one timeline, his wife is named Jenny.
~~  The decision is NOT based on 3 job offers, but, after graduation, he can either meet up with
his best friend (Jenny), ask out a classmate (Amy) that he just bumped into, or go to a celebration dinner with his family.  As soon as he presented with these choices, the show jumps ahead 10 years.
In each of his 3 lives it starts pouring rain.
~~  I expect to keep watching, but it's very difficult to keep track of his 3 lives.

--   1:10p  Repaired TiVo Bolt arrived
--   1:55p  Inside after talking to neighbors and biking 3 mi
--   2:05p  Got the Bolt, with external hard drive out of the box, but I'm waiting to plug it in.
I'm not sure where I want to put it.
--   3:14p  "Inside Edition"
Jennifer Docker found a message in a bottle from 1926.
--   3:55p  Leaving to bike and then pickup dinner @Mr Sub
--   4:48p  Inside after biking 2+2;  Dinner @home: turkey  + soup (chicken rice)
--   5:25p  Inside after biking 2 mi;  Then made room for TiVo, etc, in living room.
However I either need an HDMI to RCA converter, or I need a new TV.
--   5:47p  ... "Roswell, NM"
--   6:31p  "ET"; Lopez, Garner

--   7:15p  Leaving to pickup new Living Room TV @Best Buy
--   7:45p  Home
--   8:14p  TV (32" Insignia) has been set up but without an antenna plugged in it
is unable to find any off-the-air channels.
--   8:36p  It finished scanning cable without a cable box and only found 4 channels
none of which are normal channels, but, at least there's a picture and sound.
--   8:49p  The TV shows ARE on the hard disk but the remote is not set up to be
independent of my other TiVos so far. So I can't do much safely.
It is only set up to be able to watch the shows that are on the hard disk.
I do not have any way of watching programs that are not already recorded.

--   9:02p  "Stargirl"
IMDB says there are 2 characters named Maria.  One of them is played by an
actress named Maria.
-- 10:09p  Skim Ch5 news
-- 10:21p  A couple hours after setting up my new TV, I received an e-mail from
Best Buy that says, "read this before you set up your new TV."  It also advised
me to use the "right" vehicle to get the TV home (or use their delivery service).
-- 10:36p  "Jimmy Fallon"
-- 10:54p  "Jimmy Kimmel"
