--   1:45p  I heard my gate open. When I looked, I didn't see anyone directly

outside, although there are lawnmowers and house painters around. 

I've been waiting for my new TiVo to arrive and the online tracker said it

was delivered 45 mins ago. I found it outside, and, luckily, the gate

opening wasn't a porch pirate (but what was it?)

--   2:10p  Leaving to exchanged M-card for a fresh one.

They told me that they don't carry them anymore.  I have to order it.

After, picked up dinner @Frankie's Deli

--   3:25p  Inside after biking 2+2 and talking to neighbor.

For some reason, my watch is not establishing a connection to my phone.

--   3:44p  Turned TiVo on.  It says "Starting Up"

--   3:46p  Remote works;  The screen displays a message saying that I 

need to contact cable company, so, using the old M-card in a new machine

doesn't seem to automatically work.

--   4:00p  Initial setup finished, machine is now rebooting.  It then says "Updating".

It then made me go through everything again -- except that I didn't have to reenter my zipcode.

--   4:08p  After selecting cable company, it says it will take 20 mins to get the data.

--   4:09p  "Inside Edition"

Rebooted watch and now it is connecting to phone.

--   5:00p  Finished talking to Comcast;  They had to unpair and then pair the M-Card

and now it seems that everything is working.

Note: The on-screen menu is different -- so it's annoying.

I thought I had tested that my remotes were independent but now my old remote just

triggered my new TiVo, so that's a big problem.  One shows a red light and the other

shows a yellow light which means they're supposed to be independent, but somehow that 

got messed up.  Now I feel like I can't used either TiVo.  I'm going to

unplug the new one -- which will probably break it!
