Based on a British series of the same name.  A couple inherits a country estate that

they plan to turn into a B&B, but they find out it's haunted by many previous residents.

~~  One reviewer said it's "an inspired mix of Beetlejuice and The Money Pit, with a spooky, goofy energy that isn’t remotely like anything else on broadcast TV."

~~  A viewer who has seen the original says the first 2 episodes are practically identical to the original shows but it show that that the US production is severely lacking."

Another reviewer said the third episode takes the US version in another direction.  Apparently,

they've added some American characters, such as a Native American.

~~  There are so many things that don't make much sense, but maybe the biggest thing is

why this young couple are married to each other.  

~~  It seems that the key to this show is that it started to seem better at the end of

the 2nd episode because of the living actress can settle into her character now that

she accepts the ghosts as real.  She explains that she can't just move -- because she

sees (other) ghosts wherever she goes.
