Just as Nick Offerman was suggesting that everyone should grow sommething on their window sill,

I was seeing a Peanuts comic on Facebook that might have been the first appearance of

Snoopy on this day in 1950 where he was walking past a flowerbox on a window sill.

--   2:19p  I rebooted modem & router again and fianlly got Xfinity stream to work.

--   2:23p  Also got it working on tablet.

--   2:30p  The TiVo app is still failing, so I reinstalled it, and started 

setting up for out-of-home streaming and again it got stuck on Step 4 without an error message.

I hate it when an app goes into an infinite loop and it seems unable to detect that it's stuck.

--   2:56p  I tried to get to customer support online but there is no evidence of 

a way to contact them through the website -- it only has a useless knowledge base.

So, I called, and they said they are experiencing higher than normal call volume so I hung up.

I have a feeling that it automatically says that regardless -- unless you call after hours

and then it will tell you that it's after hours.

--   3:07p  Tony called to see if I was coming to the Oktoberfest at his church but

I said I wouldn't come.  And then I started asking him about the texts he sent from

restaurant on Sunday, but he was very cagey about them and before we got through them

he said he had to go to an appointment.  He again repeated that JohnF knows everything

but I pointed out that JohnF doesn't know the area of the pool, and we got into an argument

about the volume and the linear footage are irrelevant, but Tony wouldn't accept that.

--   3:44p  I finally found how to chat with TiVo online and they said it's a known problem

that they are working on, but there is no estimated time for it to be fixed.  They said they'll

send me an e-mail when it's fixed.
