--   4:45a  Woken with bright lights and a blood draw

--   5:30a  Alarm sounded when I lifted my butt to shift it;  Got morning meds.

--   6:55a  Turned on morning shows

I stayed in the recliner all night and was comfortable.  It seems that the key is 

NOT to use pillows under back.  However, I doubt that I got more than 3 hours of sleep.

--   8:18a - 8:36a  Called Jeri back

--   8:39a  Breakfast @Good Sam: scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, homestyle potatoes

--   9:36a  Cardiology PA left.  He thinks I can go home today.

-- 10:06a  Physical therapy evaluation ended.

He seems to believe I'm OK with stairs.  He gave advise on possibly taking one step

at a time, and walking up sideways. 

-- 10:12a - 10:24a  Called Jeri to give report

-- 10:42a  Discharge manager finished talking to me.  I gave her Carla's number.

-- 11:22a - 11:37a  Carla called back after talking to the case manager.

-- 12:40p  Lunch @Good Sam: soup (veg), chicken salad sandwich

--   1:15p  Finished 2nd walk.  I wore shoes this time.

--   1:36p - 1:42p  Carla called

--   2:10p  OT came by to quiz me about the rules and check out my mobility.

--   2:25p  Cardiologist came and asked how I'd feel about going home today.

I told him that tomorrow would probably be better, so he accepted that.

--   2:30p  Case manager came by and confirmed tomorrow.

--   3:00p  "Inside Edition"

--   3:26p  Finished 3rd walk

--   4:00p  Ch7 news

--   4:51p - 5:05p  Carla called

--   5:45p  Dinner @Good Sam: baked tilapia

--   6:21p  Finished 4th walk

--   6:30p  "ET"

--   7:00p  Nap

--   9:30p  Nurse came with meds and I said I'd like to take shower around 10:15p

but be finished in time to watch "Colbert".

-- 10:30p  Nurse returns and I told her we missed the window,  Next one is at 10:50p

-- 11:20p  She returns amd starts covering IVs with plastic..

-- 11:25p  I told her that we missed the windown again.

She asked if I wanted to wait until morning but I said you've already covered the IVs.

(And she could have worked on that at 10:30p.)

-- 11:50p  Another nurse comes in to cover the telemetry device.

The first nurse said she chouldn't do that until I had my gown off but the

2nd nurse was able to do it.
