-- 11:56a. Arrived at Hanover Park police station. They asked if I had an incident number 

but I didn't. A bit later I asked if they found a report and they found something but 

it didn't have much of anything in it.  They found no obstruction in the street. 

Their assumption was that my blood sugar just was low.

-- 12:12p  Leaving the building with bike.  There is no apparent damage, but I didn't attempt to ride it.

They did not offer to help me put it in the car, but I did not have any trouble doing so myself.

--   1:19p  Reassembled bike and started riding it around subdivision.  Talked to a neighbor who

was also biking.  Discovered that my front derailleur is messed up. The cable seems twisted with another cable  in a way that I can't see how it would happen by accident.  I would have to turn the bike

upside-down to examine it further and I'm not going to do that.

--   7:16p - 7:28p  Neighbor called to ask how I'm doing, but also wanted to know if I'm coming

to the subdivision get together next week.  The RSVP is primarily to order pizza,

which I won't eat, and, I said with my accident I had completely forgotten about

the event, but I said I will probably come.
