There were three 2nd or 3rd graders in next subdivision trying to put up a 

"Car Wash" sign on a lamp post but the paper would tend to curl up.  I suggested

that they take another sheet of paper and roll it up to make it stiff, but that

went over their heads.  I then noticed that it was garbage day and someone had a

box that would be perfect support for the sign.

~~  The sign promoted 3 "mods" (modes) of service available: Easy, medium, and extreme.

They're modeling it after the car wash their parents go to, but I'm not sure what

the would do differently.

I passed the kids again, and, while I was home, I rolled up a sheet of paper and

showed them how it was stiff, but they still didn't get it.  Of course, now that

they had the box, my suggestion was unneeded.  And then I passed the corner again

and they were gone.

GPS said there was a 7 min delay on 1st Ave but it claimed it was still the fastest route.

I decided to head to 25th Ave on side streets.
