I changed the channel on that tuner and then changed it back to Ch2 and it seems to be working now.

After a fall from grace, a fiercely talented and award-winning investigative journalist 

leaves her high-profile New York life behind to join a daily metro newspaper in Anchorage.

~~  One review said it's "the most intriguing new show on network television."

Another said it's "a sharply drawn portrait of local journalism."

Another compared it to "Lou Grant".

Harshest critic said the lead character "is among the more insufferable TV protagonists we’ve had in a while"

but points to other characters as helping the show.

~~  Jeff Perry is one of the stars.  The show airs immediately after "Grey's Anatomy" where

he had played Meredith's now-late father.  Also, the actor's ex-wife, Laurie Metcalf, is a

regular on "The Conners", which I watched this morning.

~~  When she arrives at the newspaper, it's not in the impressive building that she saw online.

Instead it's in a strip mall.  The inside seems to be a bit bigger than the storefront

appears.  It's unclear if it actually takes up more of the stores of if they just don't

care about those details.

~~  The actual Ankorage newspaper is in a nice, 2-story office building, however, there

are 10 businesses in the building, so it's unclear how much of it is occupied by the newspaper.

It was not in that building in 2011.

~~  They make it seem like this newspaper is the only organization covering news in the

state, but there are several TV stations in Anchorage.  I wonder if that will ever be mentioned.

~~  Despite the flaws, I expect to continue watching.

--   8:26p  I just got off the phone with a volunteer for a particular state house candidate but it

seems that I'm not in her district and the person calling doesn't even live in the state.

It seems her candidate lost to the same guy in 2020 and it wasn't close so she probably

doesn't have much of a chance.
