A failed PI (who is described as aimless but talented) is forced to go to work for his lawyer mother

when her regular investigator conveniently goes into labor.

One critic said it's a, "Light legal drama that’s neither funny enough nor dramatic enough to make much of an impression"

But one review said it's the fall's best new show.  I think that's pretty sad.

~~  The actor is 35, so it seems odd that his mother is still pushing him.

~~  His stepfather was born on my 6th birthday.

~~  A courthouse clerk is named Jenny.

~~  Todd follows a lead but there is no one there.  Before he can turn and leave, a

delivery guy drops off a package on the stoop.  I hate such coincidences.  The location

is just down the street were mom's client is accused of murdering her boss, but the

lead Todd was following was on a different case.

~~  There is another coincidence.  He did a favor for a woman in the first scene and

then he bumps into her at the airport (where she works) and he needs her to help him

get past security since he doesn't have a ticket.  And, even though he doesn't know

where the guy is going, he manages to get onto the right plane -- because Iceland

was on the guy's bucket list.

~~  It wasn't as bad as I expected, and one reviewer implied it gets better at the 3rd ep

so I suppose I watch at least until then.
