>>> 11:23a "Interview with the Vampire" (Metacritic: 81, 50-100, #25)
Based on Anne Rice's 1976 book but the interview is moved from 1970s San Francisco
to 2022 Dubai, but implies that this is the 2nd interview and the reporter is much older.
In the book, the vampire was turned in 1791 but here it's in 1910.
In the book the vampire was a white plantation owner but now he's a black businessman.
Purists will dislike these changes.
~~ I generally dislike period pieces because it seems that they're often speaking in poetry
and it's all very moody. So, I don't plan to watch the rest of the series.

>>> 11:07p "Reginald the Vampire" (Metacritic: 63, 40-85, #7)
All the vampires are hot -- except Reginald -- who is newly turned.
Based on "Fat Vampire" book series by Johnny B. Truant.
~~ Favorable review compared it's tone to "Resident Alien", but
a harsh critic says its "thinly conceived" and another says it starts to
bog down in subsequent episodes.
~~ The show takes place in Akron, OH!
~~ It's not great but I'll probably keep watching.
