I was going to try to watch something on TiVo on my phone but it wouldn't connect.

Then I remembered that I had to reset my clock radio last night, apparently because

I had a momentary power outage yesterday morning.  TiVo was otherwise working, but

sometimes such outages confuse it, so I rebooted the TiVo, and that seems to have fixed it.
