It's sunny with high thin clouds I hope they'll burn off more although it's probably not necessary as long as it doesn't get additionally cloudy.

~~  Drove to a spot that's right on the path of totality.  Outdated Xfinity hotspot map said there would also be a hot spot but it didn't.

which was right on the path of totality.  There was a family from Door County, WI, that had

picked the same corner!

I didn't have a specific place in Kokomo in mind so when I was approaching US-31, I looked at the overpass

and traffic was moving, so I decided to head to South Bend without stopping to reprogram GPS.

A minute after getting on US-31 it turned into a parking lot that lasted 20 mi or more

but I managed to get off at Peru and stopped at Taco John.

~~  Why did the traffic just happen to be moving well on that overpass???

I should have gotten off at the next exit and turned around!!!

I was looking for a local restaurant to eat, but I didn't notice any.

A lot of restaurants are closed on Mondays.
