He's scheduled to move tomorrow afternoon and it seems to be overwhelming because

there is too much to move.  I suggested that he make an inventory list but that

seems to be complicated for him to consider.

My phone has been ringing funny.  There are 2 short rings and then nothing.

I've been assuming it's been caused by robo-callers who are making a call and hanging up quickly

and doing it twice, but this time I decided to pick up and Carla was there.

--   8:08p  I called my landline from my cellphone and it had the 2 short rings, but as the caller

I heard it continue to ring even though the phone wasn't ringing, and my phone answering machine

did NOT pick up.  So, something is wrong.

--   8:26p  I called my cell from my landline and it didn't ring -- it went to voicemail.

I disconnected my phone answering machine but I was still getting 2 short rings.

--   8:44p  I reconnected phone answering machine and disconnected my den phone and

I could hear the phone in kitchen ringing normally and then the answering machine recorded a message,

so, it seems there is something wrong with my den phone.

--   8:53p  I plugged the den phone in again and everything seems to be working right.
