The last time I was at a Jack in the Box was in 2006 when I was in Seattle.  I only had a shake.

I used to live 2 blocks from Jack in Box in Chicago, 40 years ago.

I was not impressed with today's meal.  The dining room was cold and the food got cold quickly.

Posting a photo on Facebook probably didn't help, especially because the Facebook app had changed

and didn't seem to have a button for a live photo.

--   4:45p  Stopped @Chicken Salad Chick (which was on the way) to pickup scoop of BBQ chicken salad.

Also, got a free scoop of regular chicken salad (for Appreciation Day).

After, got gas and also picked up chicken biryani @Ghareeb Nawaz.

None of today's "Jeopardy" players got Final Jeopardy right, but the leader bet big so the 2nd place person won.

--   8:00p  I just consulted Copilot, and it assures me that modern car design, plus having

the car in the garage, plus having a battery that's less that a year old, plus having

driven around this afternoon enough that the battery is probably fully-charged, means that

my precautions with running the car with blanket on the hood will have no real effect.

Earlier, I mentioned Chicken Salad Chick which I first saw on my virtual trips in GA,

and I just saw the news that Zaxby's is opening in the Chicago area, another restaurant

I saw frequently in GA.  However, the location is in Plainfield, and there is no mention

of plans for other Illinois locations.  The Plainfield location had been a place

called Slim Chickens, which had been there since 2018.
