This is a US version of the UK show, "Doc Martin" (2004).

He was Dr. Martin Ellingham in UK, but is Dr. Martin Best in US.

They both moved to the small coastal town of Port Wenn, where they spent summers with their aunt.

But in UK he moved from London to Cornwall.  In US, he moved from Boston to Maine.

I only saw the first season of UK version.

~~  It does feel like I'm watching a rerun, but the scripts are not identical, but the first

case had the same diagnosis and neither doctor likes being called "Doc Martin".

~~  I suppose I'll watch the US version, but the main reason that I watched the first US episode

is that TiVo is giving me problem watching when I'm out of the house, but Xfinity Stream is working.
