--   7:00p  Up

The room was fairly quiet.  Although the fridge was behind a door and

relatively quiet, I probably should have tried to turn it off.

~~  There is an exhaust fan in the bathroom that is always on.

Closing the bathroom door solved that, but it would have prevented the bathroom

from being a temporary escape from other noise.

~~  The heater, suprisingly, didn't seem to come on overnight.

~~  The guy upstairs was stomping around a lot around midnight but then he went to bed.

--   8:25a  Going downstairs for breakfast. scrambled eggs, sausage, waffle

--   9:30a  Leaving to head towards Green Bay.

-- 12:00p  Arrive in West Bend.

--   2:00p  Arrive in Oshkosh.

--   5:10p  Arrive for dinner @Emperor's Buffet, Appleton.

Time is a guess.  The receipt seems to have the wrong time and Google Map Timeline

failed to notice that I was there, maybe because they don't have wi-fi.

The parking lot was almost empty but there were 2 neon signs that said "Open".

It was actually very good -- I don't know why there were relatively few customers.

I wanted to eat more but I couldn't handle more.

~~  I was expecting to tour Appleton but have dinner in Green Bay,

but when I saw the buffet, I decided I couldn't pass it up.

~~  After eating, I decided to skip Appleton and head straight to the hotel.

I can return to Appleton after I finish Green Bay.

 

--   6:30p  Arrived @Cobblestone Hotel, De Pere, WI.

Getting onto wi-fi was easy, unlike yesterday.

--   7:45p  Leaving to bike south of the hotel.

Midway, the cyclometer stopped working and I fixed it quickly, but I'm not sure how much  I lost.

So, my health app should be the backup, but it broke the trip into 4 segments.

So, given that I know where I biked, I can measure it on the map.  Biked: 7 mi.

~~  It's in the 60s, so I had to wear a jacket.  It was OK -- but NOT my preferred way.

--   8:40p  Back in room.  There was a family with 2 kids with Illinois plates.

They said they're from Aurora.

-- 10:00p  The TV is better than last night, but still difficult to find news.

It seems that the thermostat will let you set it above 73 but it goes back down to 73.
