Premieres
-- Kids Are Alright, The
- About a working-class Catholic family with 8 boys (ages 1 to 20) during the 1970s. It's told through the eyes of the 5th oldest who is 12.
- It started out overly hectic, but calmed down. It's seems like a version of "The Goldbergs", just with more kids.
- The children's theatre casting director is called Jenny in the credits.
- It's OK, and might get better, but I doubt it will get past the 1st season.
-- Rookie, The
- After his divorce, a 40-year-old contractor moves to LA to pursue his dream of being a cop.
- One critic said it's a "sure-fire hit". Another said it's an "ensemble with real potential." But another said it has too many characters and too many plotlines. Another implied is just for Fillion fans.
- There isn't anything special about this show. I probably won't watch it.
Returning
-- Conners, The {previously Roseanne}
-- black-ish
-- Splitting Up Together
