Took IL-83 south to I-55, then east to Harlem, north to I-290, west to US-45, and then north.

I was looking for a dive diner but didn't find one.  It's 12 mi away but
the route I took was 35 mi there.  (I went the direct route home, 47 total.)

The place I was looking for actually had been across the street from the Denny's,
but, apparently, it's out of business.  I was last there in 2013.
It seems that it closed in 2014 after the owner died and the kids
didn't know how to run it properly.  At the time I wrote that it
wasn't worth the drive there.  But if I was going to go to Denny's,
there one much closer to my house.
~~  It seems that Johnnie's reopened on Lake St, just west of Mannheim,
so I was just a couple blocks away!
