It connected and it installed and started initial scan.
It is showing a bouncing ball but not showing a progress bar.
I got a warning that Host Process for Windows wants to use webcam.  I don't think it's
a problem but I hate being asked to approves something like that without guidance.
I'm under the impression that if that process can't access webcam then the webcam
could be unusable.  Since I don't see the LED on, I'm assuming that it is not actually
using the webcam now -- but I don't know if that assumption is valid.

I went to IMDB to look at info for this episode and ESET said Chrome was trying to access my webcam.  How often will I be getting that message now?
Installed Java 8 and Netbeans 8.2.

Laptop seemed very sluggish.  I decided to reboot and it reported that power adapter wattage and type cannot be determined and that performance would be adjusted. 

There had been a power fluctuation during earlier, but everything else seemed OK.  It asked if I wanted to do a system scan and I said OK and it found no other problems.  I rebooted again   Things seem to be working now, but Task Manager says the system is running around 1 Gz, when it should be running about 2.6, although I haven't checked it recently.   

Later, rechecked and it's up to 3 GHz.

I was able to open my garage door, but it wouldn't close.  I assumed it was because
snow had fallen it the path, but it wouldn't even start to close (except a couple inches).
I closed it manually and then tried to get the chain to go back down and reengage but it
still wouldn't go more than a little bit.

~~  At the KFC, I had a coupon and the guy said which meal I wanted and I said #10.
He said the coupon was only good for specific meals.  Not that one.  So I asked which
ones and he described it as strips, or pieces, or nuggets.  I said the #10 is the 3 pieces.
I told him to look at the menu.  He acted like I was trying to trick him to turn around
and he said, "I know the menu."  I said, "Apparently not.

~~  I had asked for it to stay, but he gave it to me in a to-go box.  And it's supposed
to have 2 sides, but he only gave me one.

--   5:55p  Inside;  First, I talked to a neighbor who was shoveling and told her  about the garage door.   I then discovered that I could get the garage door to work if I held down the button inside. It doesn't work that way from the remote.
