About a famous rodeo family who must save their Colorado ranch after a family member

dies in a bull riding competition while under the influence of a controlled substance. 

~~  This is on CW but had been on Hallmark channel and I ignored it there.

It seems like it was meant to have "Yellowstone" vibes, but a milder version.

~~  The mayor, who is an old friend of the family, tells the matriarch that

"Riding runs in your blood -- you need it -- your son needs it -- the whole town needs it."

I think that concept is ridiculous.  The bull-riding son tells his widowed sister-in-law

that those 8 seconds when he's on the bull is the only time his mind is truly quiet.

No fear, no worries, nothing to lose.  Um, his brother lost his life!  Apparently, his father did, too.

~~  It's only 10 episodes and it's been canceled.  I'll let TiVo record it but I'm

not sure if I'll bother watching.
